Did anyone here get GTA V for PC now that it’s finally out?

CoD’s something of an exception when it comes to Steam sales. I can wait; it’ll probably be about a year before GTA gets a decent on-sale discount. Christmas/Winter sale, at the earliest.

I’m probably getting around 65-70fps at nearly max settings. Occasionally it’ll jitter a bit it when there is a lot going on on the screen, but that’s pretty rare. Also, it overclocks so easily. I've maxed out what PrecisionX will let me do, without upping the voltage, and it hovers around 65C.

When it goes on sale. After nearly 200 hours across last-gen and current-gen versions, I can wait until it goes on sale and my buddies update their PCs.

Seriously? I got a 980 for the same reason, and I’m only getting about 50fps on “fairly high” settings. Max settings requires about twice as much VRAM as I have.

It may be because I’m running 2560x1600, which would make a difference if you’re running, like, 1080p

I’ve got it hitting a steady 60 fps at nearly max settings as well with my R9 290.

Well, there could be others. My MoBo, RAM, or CPU might be bottlenecking things somehow.

Have you touched the advanced settings? Because those require a TON of horsepower.

I’ve pretty much left them where Nvidia’s suggested settings put them.
